Keyword Density

When it comes to SEO, keyword density is an important metric to keep track of. Keyword density is a measure of how often a keyword appears in a piece of content, as a ratio or percentage of the overall word count.

For example, if you had a webpage with 100 words and the keyword you were trying to rank for appeared 5 times, then your keyword density would be 5%.

It's a useful metric for optimizing webpages and content for search engine ranking.

When optimizing a web page, we aim for optimal keyword density. If the keyword density is too high, it may be flagged as spam by search engines. As such, it's important to strike a balance.

So, what's the perfect keyword density? Unfortunately, there's no easy answer to that question. It will vary depending on the particular keyword you're targeting, the competition, and a number of other factors. However, as a general rule of thumb, a keyword density of between 1-3% is usually a good target to aim for.

When it comes to SEO, quality is always better than quantity. Even if your keyword density is on the lower end, as long as your content is high-quality and relevant, you should be able to rank well in search engines.
